Technomar, a shipping company based in Greece, has ordered a pair of
containerships from Hanjin Heavy Industries & Construction shipyard
in the Subic Bay, the Philippines, SeaShipNews reports.

The
order for 6,900 teu vessels comes with an option for two more of the
same type. Allegedly, the vessels will be equipped with eco-friendly
features.

What is more, the vessels will have ultra-long-stroke
MAN B&W G-type engines, and they should be more fuel- efficient
than their precursors from 2011.

The delivery of vessels is scheduled for 2015.

The vessels’ price, estimated by shipbrokers, amounts to $63.5 million each.
